Winter time prospecting
I posted my last trip prospecting on another forum. There is a video link to Youtube and a few pictures. Here is the link:

I'll have some gold pictures when I get the cons cleaned up.

Re: Winter time prospecting
I used to go out with two of my friends in Febuary to a special spot here in Misery. BUT as time passed so did my friends. Now I just think of new ways to get into trouble! and until I get through with my knee replacement theropy (4 more weeks)my 10 gallons of super cons will just have to stay in my shop till then!

Luckily with my GoldHog mats I only had about 2 cups of cons to pan out after running the highbanker in Clear Creek and doing some stream sluicing in Denver . Where are you located? I hope you have a speedy recovery. Take care of that knee. I need to get a good knee brace before I completely wreck what knee I have left.

NFRYTAG,
Thanks for posting... Sounds like great fun.
Clear Creek can be surprisingly fun and productive. Check out Red's video of him using his Sand-n-Gold hand pumper and the Gold Cube a little ways further up stream. NICE gold! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WTGkC8SFj00
Gettin' cold and wet can pay off in winter...
