Colorado -- Snowed In..... Cold Too! 17 Dec 2016

Hey Gold Adventurers...

Well..........we got some decent snow here in Buena Vista, Colorado... Anywhere from 6 inches to a foot, depending on the spot, drifting...

AND, with the snow on the ground and clear skies last night, we hit a low of 8.6 degrees F below zero this morning too...

The coldest so far this winter has been 11.5 F below zero.    

I love the snow sounds when you walk on it this cold, this dry...."crunch", "crunch", "crunch".......almost "squeaks" too...












So, looks like I'll have to just play indoors for a while......reload up me some Match .308 ammo for next Spring!

Yep we had our "blizzard" last night..............1/2 inch with ice on the bottom! The roads are almost clean this evening!

Well no snow yet but enough rain to keep us from digging as all the washes are running water in them.

We got 2 inches more last night of snow...

23F this morning, stars out, clear. Definitely a "white" Christmas" here in pot smokin' "High" Kolorado this year for us!

Roads here are just snow on top of scraped, hard packed white ice. Ugh...

Hope any flowing water in your areas will pile up some black sand and gold for you!
