ALCON,
Thanks for the thoughts, well wishes and prayers...
Sadly, my 83 year old father passed from Leukemia back on 22 March. I stayed almost a month in Kalifornia to participate in the memorial service and ash scattering, plus help my Mom fix up, sell off, move off the ranch a bunch of old farm equipment, vehicles, stuff.
Back home now in Kolorado, catching up.
Make every day a good one! We all only have so much time...

Hi Randy:
So sad to hear the news. My condolences to you and the family. Nobody stays here forever but that doesn't make it any easier for the family left behind. Hopefully time will heal the loss. I lost my dad in 84 and it's hard to understand and accept.

Randy, I also extend my sympathy to you and your family. I iost my dad when he was 86. I miss picking up the phone and talking to him, asking his advice (he seemed to know something about everything) and just chatting. I am praying for your family in this time of grief and loss.

Re: Randys out of town helping
Thanks everyone...
My Dad lived to be 83. I am sure he would say he had a rich, full life raising 5 kids, farming, teaching for 25+ years.
I've walked thru the Granite Cemetery many times...........lots of men "back in the day" only lived into their 40s and 50s. With modern healthcare, food, etc., we tend to live a lot longer...
