Still unresolved problems, Randy..
Yo all & ATT'N: Randy,
Still problems at the front door, Randy..
I'm here via your original link at Wes' (know I'd bookmarked your later link, but when I went to find it for this 'trip' it wasn't there, so must not have taken for whatever reason..)
When I first arrived all the forums were showing, but like Skip said somewhere else -- even tho I'd left myself logged in and the box was still check marked the site wanted me to log in.. So I did.. When I clicked on that is when I was sent to the blank page.. "Grrrrr," said I..
Took care of a friend request (why I'm not sure since it was for a blank forum) but glad I did, because: I was about to leave, but before doing so I deceided to back up all the way.. Lo and behold, when I got to the initial page all the categories were there and I showed up as logged in..
Again, as Skip stated, if folks end up needing to use the back button as the main navigation tool it will be problematic to the point we peeps won't want to hang out..
Ergo it is in your best interest to track down this glitch, and if that means making the designers of this program find the problem for you so be it -- since it seems fairly obvious you can't possibly be the only blog running their program having a problem..
Here's hoping it's actually "pilot error"; I think everyone concerned will be better off if it turns out being something you did/didn't toggle rather than their code being buggy..
Until l8r,
Swamp

Is there an 'Edit' button you can enable for post-posting additions / corrections, Randy..?
Anyhow, turns out I'm adding something else Skip brought to your attention: It IS the Gold Adventures Forum I have bookmarked, not the ...LLC... front-of-the-string title..
So I'm already coming in on the secondary method..
Yup, you need to have a chat with these guys..

Re: Still unresolved problems, Randy..
Al,
Sorry you have had so much trouble...
I take it this is the URL you have bookmarked to bring you directly to the new Gold Adventures Forums?
https://c17a.forumotion.com/c1-gold-adventures-forums
It seems that you have been able to create an account, Login and post 2 posts to date...........so that tells me you're "in".
On the "Edit" capability...........there's a couple buttons in the upper right of each post......one labeled "Multi-Quote", another labeled "Quote", another labeled "Edit".....and a delete & "?" button too.
Are you not seeing the "Edit" button to click on and open the post for editing? I have used it a bunch, works perfectly well for me.
I don't have the ability to write new code or change the Forumotion.com Forum structure as I know it... As the "Admin" I can go in and do the normal things like set up threads, reset passwords, delete abusive users & Spammers, assign privileges, etc.
I am not sure why so many folks are having trouble... I did have to shift off my "old" Internet Explorer to the new Windows 10 Edge and/or FireFox browsers to get better access to all my normal sites I visit. Maybe try accessing the GA Forum via Edge or FireFox?
Plz hang tough...

Randy:
You do not have this shortcut on some of the board pages. In the members board, you cannot get off the page and back to the forum. and if you are on the home page, you cannot get to the forum. It should be at the top and bottom of all of the pages.

Dickb,
Well.................I am doing my best...
I went out to the GPAA, Gold Dredgers, VA-Gold & Eastern U.S. Forums after my initial posting and reposted the new direct URL for any/all to see and use:
https://c17a.forumotion.com/c1-gold-adventures-forums
If you know how to make the buttons to link back and forth, as you'd like to see, please tell me...
