Colorado -- Come On SPRING!!!

Greetings Gold Adventurers...

Winter has set in now here in High Kolorado. Nights well below freezing, some lows into the single digits......snow on the ground now too.

Already gettin' cabin fever... Went over to the Ark with the Chief back on 13 December and spent 1 hour plus banging & scraping frozen ground, panning up a little color. Even then it was basically impossible to do any serious panning ops, we still had fun panning in that ICE COLD water...

By now, with all the snows and colder temps, it's a no-go until Spring. COME ON SPRING!!!

Santa brought me a brand new set of 5MM Heavy Duty chest waders with reinforced knees and insulated boot feet, so I'll be ready to slip into that ice cold Ark and start dredging the edges/shallows... Need to get some gold, even IF it's 80 to 95% minus 50 mesh flour...

So, come on Spring!

Hi Randy:

Sounds like it's time to throw the MD in the Pilot and head to AZ for a little fun swinging in the rocks.

We had a White Christmas and were down below 0 for the next week or two.

By the time Spring rolls around, there will be locked gates on everything in CO. "Miners not welcome here" signs too.

Throw a couple logs in the stove, get a cigar, some liquid nourishment and read a good book.
