Bon Voyage
Hi Randy:
Hope you have a great time back in CA seeing the family. Have a safe trip and take lots of repellant with you. Sounds like your going to need it.
May you find that yella nugget you've been chasing for years. HA!
Talk to you when you get back.

Randy it's even hotter in Cal than at your place! BUT I'm sure you already know that!

Russ, Dickb, et al.,
Just got back a couple day back...
Playing BIG time catch up. Fall's here for sure... Almost caught up...
Will be modifying my 2 1/2 inch dredge sluice box soon. Hope to get out dredging to try it out at least once.
I only had 2 gold prospecting days in Kalifornia this trip out. Me and the girls did manage to get a nice 1.06 grams of nice flakes and fines bedrock busting, crevicing and panning on the NF Yuba.

Your other reply painted a nice picture of Colorado's Fall weather and I could almost smell the Aspen's and the crispness of the cool air! Good to see you back!

Hi Randy:
Welcome back and good to hear the trip was a success. Won't be long and the snow will start appearing on the mountain tops. I haven't had to turn the heat on at my place, but it won't be long. I guess that it's almost time to get the snow blower out and tune it up for winter. I still would rather mow grass than shovel snow.
Glad all is going well with your family and I bet it was good to see everyone again.
Take care and get those chores done.

Russ, Dickb,
Woke up at 6:30 AM this morning to a steady rain and low clouds. Only 41F out here at the house, so sure the 13ers & 14ers are getting a little white on top...
Will know for sure when the weather moves on...
Was planning on a 10 mile bike ride, but not today unless it all clears out by this afternoon.
I ordered my piece of sheet aluminum for my dredge box mod. Hopefully here in 4 or 5 days.
Glad to be home to Kolorado...
Almost caught up on stuff. Looks like an inside day. May clean the house later.

Russ,
Yeah... I looked at them, but I need to bend it, drill it, bolt it to my existing sluice box and want a good amount of durability as I for sure bump it, bang it, drag it over rocks and such on the river...
