Wow.... Looks like EVERYTHING but the kitchen sink there... Pans, tennis shoe too...

May 15 I had a bad headache. May 19, I had a double brain operation( bleeding on both sides). The only reason the Doctors can give me is 20 years of low dose aspirin!! Out of the operation I got a dose of "foot drop". I walk with braces on my calves and into my shoes. I expect it all to eventually get better but there is no "fix" that I can find. This all happens when I had found a spot that I can get 5 - 6 grams a day . But the wife and kids say my dredging days are over! Anyway , I am not crying over my condition , things happen. Could have just passed out and not be here any more just as easily!. I have sold the dredge ( pending pickup Saturday) to a younger fellow who is going up from a highbanker. He was amazed at the "stuff" I collected in the last 10 years and is excited about dredging. I will keep watching your forum. Wish you luck getting the gold.

Wow...  Sorry to hear about the operation and foot drop and all the rest...  Hope you have a blessed & speedy recovery!

We're not any younger, that's for sure.  I keep telling my sweet wife at times that "I am getting too old for this...." and she always reminds me....."and you're not getting any younger for it either...".  Ha.  

Even if you can't dredge anymore................you have years of wisdom, experience, savvy............you can become the "Yoda" of gold prospecting in your area.........share the knowledge, wealth, stories, etc., to the up and coming generation.  Try to get some more youth interested, educated.................GOLD FEVER too!  

It ain't over 'till it's truly over...  Hang tough.
