Hey Gold Adventurers...

Help!  Time to send the USFS a great big NO on their EA/proposed closures!

Yep.    Just more of the endless USFS efforts to close off roads, routes, trails and our access to OUR public lands...

This is the Cleveland National Forest in Orange, Riverside & San Diego counties in Southern Kalifornia.

Remember, their attack on "unauthorized" routes in the forest is how THEY define them, want to dictate............not what we the public say, want, need, use.

Go skim their 110 page EA I attached above and guess what?  Once again, on page 2, they're justifying closing off all these trails & roads for the poor, poor "threatened & endangered" species' habitats that they say exist there, plus all the "sensitive" species too...  So rats, and sand fleas and weeds always have priority over humans.

Also, they say "disbursed" camp sites.............more than 300 feet off a road, are "contributing to illegal activities, such as camping, shooting, hunting and camp fires".  Ha.  The say 15% transit thru "archeological" sites, presenting risks to "priceless resources".  Priceless?  No way.

Ha.  All such crap.

I already e-mail them, gave them my public input:   Alternative # 1 -- NO ACTION.

Because you know otherwise they WILL implement THEIR Alternative # 2 -- Implement their plan as THEY have written it.....and will close off 100+ miles of trails, roads WE the public use and need to get back into OUR forest.  They want us to camp only in their fee campgrounds and look at our forest from afar...

I hope everyone sends in their opposition, let their voice be heard.

Send e-mails to:  comments-cleveland@fs.fed.us and put "Unauthorized Route Decommissioning" in the subject line.

The "MINESTOPO'S" never give up! They just do their thing without consequence from the public.

It's really terrible that no one in government will stand up for miners rights.

Russ,

That's the sad bottom line......that OUR friggin' "governments"..........whether at the city, county......and especially state & federal levels have endless time, endlessly deep pockets from OUR taxes to dictate whatever THEY want, drag us around.......make us take them to court......and we the lowly citizens simply can't "fight City Hall" because we're not billionaires to fund endless & lengthy lawsuits so MAYBE the courts will side with us...

Just look at the friggin' suction dredge ban issue in Kalifornia...  It's been over 6 years now..........and once Judge Ochoa ruled FOR us miners........the godless, Commie Liberal Democrat run (into the ground) state AG Harris simply asked their Kalifornia Supreme Court to overturn Ochoa, de-publish the Reinhart decision....and make us all wait another year...

Oh, in the meantime, the criminal politicians there moved to have suction dredging permitting moved out of the Dept of Fish & Game into their even more criminal Water Resource Board.  THAT little move effectively starts the whole legal fight all over....  Criminals...

So, with eco-Nazi owned politicians & governments, we citizens have less than no rights, even under the law, which is plain as day...  Federal law trumps state law.  The state can NOT prohibit what the federal allows & even encourages on federal lands within that state.  I say again, traitorous, unconstitutional criminals!  Mad

Russ,

Ha. Well.......guess what? I got an e-mail from the USFS on my previously submitted comments to their plan to close us off......saying that my inputs were "submitted outside the approved comment period".

Ha. Their previous solicitation never had ANY dates/timeframe mentioned.....just said they wanted to hear from us...

So, I resent my inputs in this morning. I am 110% sure they aren't going to like them, or accept my inputs. That's' what "government" does today.............all eco-Nazi owned........they're required by law to ask, BUT then will completely dismiss any & all public inputs they don't like and do what THEY want to do anyways...

We're doomed...

My e-mail I sent is below, FYI. Hope others e-mail Jeffrey and give them their inputs too.

Jeffrey,

O.K. Here's my inputs, submitted a second time:

I see this as just more of the endless USFS effort, like the BLM, to close off ever more roads, routes, trails and our access to OUR public lands...

"Unauthorized" routes and trails is how you define them, want to dictate............not what we the public would define, want, need, deserve to hunt, shoot, camp, hike, enjoy our public lands.

I have skimmed your 110 page EA..........and guess what? No surprise, on page 2, right away I see you partly justifying closing off all many these trails & roads for the poor, poor "threatened & endangered" species' habitats that you and extreme environmentalists say exist there, plus all the supposed "sensitive" species too... The Endangered Species Act is the most abused act going today, right behind the Antiquities Act of 1906.

Also, you say "disbursed" camp sites.............more than 300 feet off a road, are "contributing to illegal activities, such as camping, shooting, hunting and camp fires". Illegal? Really? Who came up with this silly rule? Not us the owners of these lands. You apparently want to herd everyone into a designated camp site only, of your choosing, so we can pay all ever higher fees and charges, and experience the noise of everyone else's barking dogs, boom boxes, smoke from their campfires....instead of being able to escape, get away by yourself for a little while, right?

You claim 15% of these trails and/or roads transit thru "archeological" sites, presenting risks to "priceless resources". Priceless? No way. I've been to many of these so called priceless archeological sites in our West coast forests and at most one can see a few scattered seashells, some black soot/ashes from long past fires or a few holes in rocks where the Indians pounded acorns or grain, right?

Here's my public input: Alternative # 1 -- NO ACTION.

Actually, high time to open up more public lands......take down signs, remove boulders, remove gates........to the people who own them...............us the American public. Obama's alone has abused the Antiquities Act to designated 19 new or expanded National Monuments, closing off over 260 million acres of our lands to any good public use to date. Enough.

Thank you.

Very good comment Randy!! another bullit would be that the gubermint and wacoenviromentalists played that "card" in California and western coast states years back by closeing off roads and when the fires came the fire department couldnt get to the fires and lots of homes and forest got burnt to the ground thanks to "their ideas" ! We Americans need to see what these socalled "representatives" of ours are actually doing while on "our dime" and vote them out and vote for people (Americans) that put our Country and Her people AHEAD of these political partys benefits! IF IT ISNT GOOD FOR OUR COUNTRY AND PEOPLE ,WHAT GOOD IS IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lets get them OUT of office no matter what "party" they are in!

Russ,

Great point on you bullet.....so, why not e-mail Jeffrey and tell him that too?  jaheys@fs.fed.us  and comments-cleveland@fs.fed.us         Put in the subject line something about "Cleveland NF Public Comments on Road/Trail Closures"...

They need to hear from as many concerned citizens as possible.  Wink

Sure, they'll blow us off, pooh-poo us, dismiss us, ignore us.............but we need to speak up, the eco-Nazis sure do and they sure listen to them.

It never ends ......except in victory for the eco-Nazis as they own the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service lock, stock & Barrel.  Sue & Settle tactics.....and they get their legal fees reimbursed too!

http://capitalresearch.org/2013/07/sue-and-settle-secret-backroom-deals-by-bureaucrats-and-environmentalists-hurt-the-american-economy/

Recently, there in Kalifornia, the worst of the worst.......The Center for Biological Diversity......based in illegal sanctuary city San Francisco, again sued the USFWS and got the poor, poor yellow-legged frog & Yosemite toad declared "Endangered" and "Threatened" under the Endangered Species Act......and that ended in over 2 MILLION acres of prime Mother Lode forest land being declared "critical habitat".  THAT means an end to human access, use, enjoyment....no logging, no prospecting/mining, roads closed, simply closed off.

Guess what?  They said the declining populations were caused, not by man, but by an amphibian fungus and invasive, stocked, non-native trout eating them and their eggs.  SO, how the hell does closing off 2 + million acres of OUR forests in 17 counties and 9 National Forests......help the poor, poor frog & toad?  Answer:  It doesn't.

Like all the rest........whatever declining (as they measure it) weed, flea, toad are just toadies (pun intended) for them to endlessly abuse the Endangered Species Act for THEIR own personal agenda.....denying all public lands from access, use, enjoyment of the Amerikan people.

http://www.biologicaldiversity.org/news/press_releases/2014/yosemite-toad-yellow-legged-frog-04-25-2014.html

http://abc30.com/archive/9516691/

http://www.fws.gov/sacramento/outreach/public-advisories/sierraamphibian_proposals/outreach_pa_sierraamphibian_proposals.htm

Remember the Bundy standoff with BLM a little while back?  All caused by The Center for Biological Diversity.  They sued the USFWS over the poor Desert Tortoise.  The lapdog USFWS immediately settled and gave the tortoise "Endangered" status and The Center for Biological Diversity helped them draw up maps that were then used to designate 640,000 acres in Kalifornia & Nevada as critical habitat.

As soon as that was done they sued again claiming all the cattle ranchers cows were harming the tortoise and so must be removed.  So, the lapdog BLM started denying grazing permits, telling ranchers to remove their cows, vacate all this land that they'd been using, leasing for decades.  The BLM was eventually successful in destroying the lives, livelihoods and ranching of dozens of ranchers, until only Bundy was left.  He said he and the tortoise and his cows all shared the land, got along just fine, refused to leave and after a bunch of B.S. by BLM then refused to pay their lease fees, claiming family rights that went back to the 1800s before Arizona became a state...

So, once again, the tortoise was the toady for the REAL reason......the eco-Nazis hate cattle ranchers, wanted them and their cows off public lands and close those lands to human endeavor, use, access.

The eco-Nazis at The Center for Biological Diversity brag:

"The protections are the result of a 2011 agreement between the Center and the Service to speed up endangered species protection decisions for 757 imperiled animals and plants around the country. So far 106 species have been fully protected, and another 32 species have been proposed for protection under the settlement agreement. The amphibians protected today have been waiting more than a decade for help."

SO, we see they have directly been responsible in Sue & Settle actions that in 106 cases they got everything they wanted..........and we the land owning public lost out BIG TIME.....and they have pressure/lawsuits on the USFWS for a whopping 757 MORE rats, weeds, fleas and others they are using as excuses to close of all the rest of our public lands from us.  Criminals...

So, we best speak up, let OUR voices be heard too!  Wink
