I have to look at Imgur.com too as anther alternative to PhotoBucket.

Just insane PhotoBucket hit us all with a no-notice "Terms of Use" change and the only option to get 3rd party image linking was their very most expensive option at $400 a year!

Ha. Sadly..........yep...

What really ticked me off was ZERO warning. None. One day fine, next day.........zero pictures showing up on all my Forum post & Trip Reports!

Also, when you look at what YOU want out of PhotoBucket............like say photo or video storage, printing of pics, linking, whatever...........you get NO smorgasbord options to tailor the site and new fees to YOUR needs...

Interesting too, they don't offer you ANY 3rd party image hosting except on the very top line "plan"..........$399.99 a year. That's just insane, ludicrous, way too much.

It's all blackmail now. You have years of images and videos on their site and THEN they demand $400 a year. Wrong on every level.

Remember what happened with the old forum. No responsibility, no apology, no response.

I can't imagine how a person could remember where he posted links to those photos so he could go back and redirect the links to the new host. What a mess.

They know you can't afford to set up your own server and maintain it for that fee. GOT YA!

If it sounds too good to be true, it is. Put the bait out there and reel them in.
