As you know, I have GH matting now in my 4 inch Keene ultra mini suction dredge with a 4 foot extension in the sluice box...

It SEEMS to be doing O.K. I did find some fine, fine gold in the tailing piles...

So far, maybe as good as my sluice mod with a 2 foot extension and nothing but Vortex matting inside with 2 strips of GH UR matting up front, under the flair...

When you're talking LOADS of heavy black sand here and 80% of the fine flood gold minus 50 mesh to 200 specks/flakes, I doubt anything will get 100% of it.....at least NOT with the one man technology I can afford to put in the river...

Can't wait for Spring to go dredging again in April! NO matter the ice cold water...
