Colorado-- My first ever gold adventure.
What a great time I had on this trip. Randy really showed me a lot, and I learned a lot from this adventure. What a great place Cache Creek is!! The beauty of that area is unreal.

It always pays to learn from someone that's already been there!

Hey John,
Well............VERY nice job on the video/still photography & music!
I remember our time last year up at Cache Creek. It was a lot of fun. We got some decent Colorado gold too.
Too bad BLM is trying to cram down our throats a new EA/Mgt Plan that only goes from bad to worse:
1). Limits prospecting access to just half the year (Memorial Day weekend to 30 November), 2). Implement a $5 a day/$25 a "season" permit/fee system, 3). Implements OSHA safety/digging standards for holes/pits, 4). Limits in stream equipment to a simple hand pan only, 5). Limits prospecting on the 2,160-acre parcel to just 25 acres of BLM's choosing.
I am fighting BLM as I can. I am trying to get Senator Gardner's office and Congressman Lamborn's office in on the fight, but it's been slow going.....and time is running out for us.
Anyways, that was a dun time. Hope to have more before BLM shuts us down completely at Cache Creek.
