Colorado -- First Rain in Months... Empty Colorado -- First Rain in Months...

Hey Gold Adventurers...

Well, we FINALLY got some rain...……….first in months here in High Kolorado. Wink

Looks like some of the remnants of Hurricane Bud, from the Pacific Ocean, drifted inland and gave us a good soaking last evening & night. We sure needed it, as it's been SO dry since March, single digit humidity, hot into the upper 80s and even 90, sunny, dry.

I saw the Ark was up from a baseline of 750 CFS at Granite to 815 CFS this morning. Good.

Maybe Cache Creek will keep flowing for a little while longer, as it was dropping FAST prior to this rain event.

Had a low of 42F this morning, but sunny, crystal clear and up to 60F already and it's only 8:41 AM.

Maybe try to go sluicing at Cache Creek tomorrow, take advantage of the extra water flow... Wink
